Once all documents are verified, policies signed and returned, background check cleared and tuition fees are paid, our new student will gain access to our state approved material and CU Student handbook.  The CU Student handbook will be adhered to in order to successfully complete clinical hours.  Our course work  we provide online is 60 hours of lecture and our clinical skills training, where students will receive hands on training in a nursing facility, is 40 dedicated hours.  The total 100 hours necessary for a CU student to graduate can be completed in as little as 3 weeks, by which the CU student having completed all 60 hours course work lecture, with passing test scores, and meeting the 40 hour clinical skills requirements with the clinical coordinator, shall receive a letter of completion signed by CU Program Director.  Our course completion letter will then be sent to Texas Health and Human Services to schedule state testing.  Once a date is set our CU graduate will successfully complete the state competency evaluation and the graduate will be qualified to be placed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
